Meraki Cardmaker Connect

Hey, hey! I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share I will be creating and chatting along LIVE this afternoon during Crafty Meraki‘s Cardmaker Connect event this afternoon on YouTube HERE.

My class is second to last in the line up of ten, so I decided to go with a Kitchen Sink Recipe theme. Just like the popular cookies, we will take whatever delicious bits you have left over and toss it in the mix to create something absolutely yummy!

If you want to snag the kit for this class, check it out HERE and use code MCCLASTMINUTE to snag a discount while you can.

On the first card, I’ll walk you through two different methods to get this look. One will be neat a dry while the other is wet and a bit more messy. So, you can pick which crafting style you prefer or try both!

If you’d like to craft along with me, here’s what you can prep ahead for the first card:

  • Pre-colored & die cut images (my cupcakes are approx 1-1.25″ tall x 1.5″-2″ wide)
  • Sentiments of choice
  • A2 watercolor cardstock (4.25″ x 5.5″)
  • 4-Bar card bases (3.5″x5″ when folded)
  • Glitter or specialty cardstock trimmed to 3″x4.5″
  • Acetate or clear film sheet 4.25″ x 5.5″
  • Distress Oxide or blending ink color of choice
  • Optional: sequins/gems, twine/thread, splatter/spray, and markers in colors to compliment your chosen image.
  • Optional: Tag or shaped die no larger than 2.75″x4.25″

On the second card, I would prep:

  • Pre-colored & die cut images (my cupcakes are approx 1-1.25″ tall x 1.5″-2″ wide)
  • Sentiments of choice
  • A2 watercolor cardstock (4.25″ x 5.5″)
  • 4-Bar card base (3.5″x5″ when folded)
  • 4-Bar white cardstock panel (3.5″x5″)
  • Distress Oxide or blending ink color of choice
  • Optional: sequins/gems, twine/thread, splatter/spray, and markers in colors to compliment your chosen image.

Okie dokie! I hope to see you there!
