Pocket Cards to Greeting Cards: Family Edition Card 4

Hello, again crafty friends! I am back to share the fourth and final card in my Pocket Cards to Greeting Cards mini series featuring the “Family” pocket card set from Scrapbook.com. Instructions for the first card can be found HERE, the second card can be found HERE, and the third card can be found HERE. Okay, let’s get started…

Step 1:

Just as I did with all the cards before, I trimmed 1/8″ off the top and bottom of a piece of A2 glitter paper. I then adhered the glitter paper to an A2 card base.

Step 2:

Trim .75″ off the teal floral printed card, so you are left with a 4″x5.25″ piece.

Step 3:

Use an oval die to cut the sentiment card, then cut an oval one size larger in the center of the teal floral card.

Step 4:

Add decorative stitching around the border of the teal card if you’d like then adhere it over the glitter paper with foam tape.

Step 5: Using the scraps from our previous projects, create 4″ stripes to go across the open oval. You can add stitching to this layer if you’d like. Adhere these over the center of the card ensuring you support the bridge with foam adhesive.

Step 6: Secure the oval cut sentiment card with foam adhesive at the top and bottom. Then add a few drops of clear glitter Pops of Color and set aside to dry.

Well, there you have it! We’ve officially made it through the whole mini-series. I hope you had fun with me along the way. If you’d like a full list of all the supplies used, please visit my gallery post, and I hope to see you again soon!

Until next time… stay crafty! – Laura Evangeline
