Ombre Hot Air Balloons

Welcome, crafty friend! Today I wanted to pop in to share a few cards I made using the “Dream Away” stamp & die sets. This set was released exclusively to Catherine Pooler Designs Club Sursee members a little white back, but now it’s finally available to everyone!

I started out by creating loads of balloons. To give them an ombre look, I used a foam ink blender to tap ink over the stamp with a slight overlap.

I backed the negative piece of cardstock used to create the clouds for the first card with white glittered cardstock to create a background for the second card.

I didn’t have the shade of blue needed for the mat layer on this card, so I used two shades of blue and just inked around the edges of a white piece of cardstock to give the impression of an ombre sky.

Thank you for joining me today. Please feel free to see more of my projects in my Gallery, on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and now YouTube as well. Until next time… stay crafty!
