Hello! Hello! I’m here today with the second card tutorial in a mini series featuring the “So Clutch” stamps & die set from Catherine Pooler Designs. If you missed the first one, check it out HERE. Otherwise, let’s check out this one…
Step 1: Layout Planning
Since I’m still on a mission to knock out this pile of paper scraps on my desk, I dug around and pulled out a few things I thought would work on the top folding mini slimline (3.5″ x 6″) card base I’m starting with. (These fit in a #6-3/4 envelope.)
Step 2: Stitch & Stick
The polka dot piece (3.25″ x 5.75″) was added to the card base with adhesive tape.
A stitched border was then added to the textured white cardstock piece (2.75″ x 5.25″) before attaching it with foam adhesive.
The striped piece (1.25″ x 2.75″) was attached with adhesive tape toward the lower third of the card front followed by a cardstock circle and die cut purse which were secured centered on the upper third of the card front using foam adhesive.
Step 3: Sentiment, Sequins, & Splatter
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock and trimmed with fishtail ends before attaching with foam adhesive. Sequins were added, and finally a bit of white pigment and clear sparkly ink were splattered on.
