Alcohol Markers, Cardmaking, Die Cutting, Thinking of You

Got Me Covered

Hey, there! Today I’m sharing the third card tutorial in a mini series featuring the “So Clutch” stamps & die set from Catherine Pooler Designs. If you missed the first one, check it out HERE. Otherwise, let’s get started on this one…

Step 1: Layout Planning

The base of today’s card is a side folding 3.25″ x 4.25″ which fits an A1 or 4-Bar envelope.

For the layers, I have a 3″ x 4″ scrap dotted piece and a 23/8” x 33/8textured white cardstock piece I added machine stitching to.

Step 2: Stack & Stick

To add more dimension and sturdiness to the little glasses, I cut several extra blanks from scrap cardstock to stack & glue together.

The polka dot piece was added to the card base with adhesive tape, followed by the textured white cardstock piece with foam adhesive.

Then the stacked glasses were glued on centered down the front of the card.

Step 3: Sentiment

The sentiment was stamped on the inside of the card.

(You can see in this photo above where I used a rolled bit of low tack tape to help keep the card closed while I worked on the front.)

Step 4: Sequins & Splatter

For the final touches, sequins were added as well as splatters of white pigment and clear sparkly ink.
